1. Introduction
---------------

First of all, sorry for any English mistakes XD

The ChipMunk was created to help developers using RPG Maker 2000 or 2003.
It allows the developer to use parts of several Chipsets to create new ones,
allowing more freedom when mapping.
I hope you find it useful (:

Gustavo

2. Version Changes
------------------

  1.0 - Initial Release

3. Using the ChipMunk
--------------------

  3.1. Importing Chipsets
  -----------------------

To import parts from a Chipset to the Library, use the menu
"File>Import Chipset" or the shortcut Ctrl+I. You can import any Chipset in
the PNG format, even if it has more than 256 colors. If the Chipset doesn't
have a transparent background, a dialog will show up so you can select the
color that'll be transparent when using the chipset (just like the maker).
The ChipMunk will save the parts in the Library.

  3.2. Managing the Library
  -------------------------

You can open the Library Manager through the menu "File>Library Manager" or
the shortcut Ctrl+L. In that window you'll see a list of all your resources,
so you can select them and delete with the key [Delete]. Remember you can't
  undo that.

  3.3. Assembling your Chipset
  ----------------------------

Once you have imported the desired parts, you can used them to assemble
  your Chipset;
The Water, Animation and Autotile parts (that lay at the left part of the
Chipset) can be found in their boxes. To add them to the Chipset, just drag
them to the desired place. To remove a parte from the Chipset, just click at
  it and press [Delete].
The right part of the Chipset, which I call the General part, can be
"drawn" just like a map in the RPG Maker. Just select the tiles you want in
the General box and click where you want to apply them.

  3.4. Saving the Chipset
  -----------------------

You can save your Chipset in True Color or 256 colors.
Saving in True Color keeps all of the colors of the Chipset, but you can't
import the resulting file to the RPG Maker, since it accepts only 256-color
  files.
When you save in 256 colors, you'll lose some color informations. That is,
the resulting image will not be the same you see on the screen when editing.
The ChipMunk does its best to keep the 256-color version as close as possible
to the original. If you don't like the result, you can try to save in True
Color and then converting to 256 color using Photoshop or Paint.Net or some
  other Image Editor.
